NORTH AMERICA: USOA CONFERENCE ANNOUNCEMENT

The 34th Annual Conference of the United States Ombudsman Association (USOA) will be held in Indianapolis from 28 October to 1 November 2013. Conference host Charlene Burkett (Department of Corrections Ombudsman Bureau Director) and the USOA’s Conference and Planning Committee are seeking a keynote speaker and session presenters.

JORDAN: OMBUDSMAN ENHANCES COOPERATION WITH PUBLIC ADMINISTRATION BODIES

Speaking at the opening ceremony of a workshop organized by the Ombudsman Bureau in cooperation with the World Bank on “Enhancing the Cooperation Framework and Coordination with the Public Administration,” Prime Minister Abdullah Ensour stressed the important role of the Ombudsman Bureau in entrenching the values of integrity, transparency, justice and equality.
